About the Position
Reporting to the CCNS Executive Director, the Director of Development will lead all aspects of the organization’s development program to increase the funding streams from individual donors, foundations, corporations, and governmental entities. The Director of Development will be a key liaison with the CCNS Board of Directors.
This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational fundraising plan.
- Identify and act on new grant opportunities for CCNS.
- Nurture current donor relationships and cultivate new donors through personal solicitations.
- Coordinate and execute events, including two annual fundraising events, an annual appeal campaign, and donor-appreciation events.
- Update and leverage the CCNS donor database.
- Enhance and leverage the online presence of CCNS via the website and social media platforms.
- Effectively support the Executive Director and Board Members in their fundraising responsibilities.
- A strong belief in the CCNS mission.
- 5+ years of development experience.
- A proven record of fundraising success.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), social media, and database/CRM software.
- Familiarity with the North Shore preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
