In addition there are two groups organized and run by residents in neurology and neurosurgery programs. These groups meet at the annual scientific meeting in June to discuss common issues and maintain e-mail contact with one another.

Background on CNSF

The Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation (CNSF) is an affiliation of four national societies for neurology, neurosurgery, and related disciplines, who share a common interest in the functions and disorders of the human nervous system, and who work together to achieve common goals.

The combined membership of the four societies is about 1,200 and represents most of the specialists and residents in the areas of adult and child neurology, neurosurgery and clinical neurophysiology.

 

Volunteers Needed

The CNS, CACN, CNSS and the CNSC are always looking for physician members to lend their time and expertise to governing the society. If you would like to stand for council or for appointment to a committee, contact your secretary-treasurer.
