The time for the 'real' successor of the nForce 680i to arrive is drawing near and you know what that means - more very expensive motherboards will hit the streets. One of the Best  nForce 790i SLI boards will be Gigabyte's new flagship  GA-790SLI-DQ6 which is pictured below. In true high-end fashion it features support for 45nm processors, the 1600 MHz FSB and DDR3-1600 memory via four slots.

The upcoming 790i SLI motherboard also features a all-copper cooling system, The GA-790SLI-DQ6 allows users to create a 3-Way-SLI system and supports Hybrid-SLI. It has four PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, one of which (the nice orange slot) probably being x4 electrical. n addition, the DQ6 has solid capacitors, one IDE connector, six SATA 3.0 Gbps and two eSATA ports, two Gigabit Ethernet adapters and 7.1 channel audio. That Molex connector just above the first PCIe slot is the thing that is rather out of place but, overall, the motherboard seems pretty solid and might we add expensive. The board should become available in early Q2.
